Mechanicsburg – Williams Grove Speedway will host a tune-up for the upcoming World of Outlaws sprint car Summer Nationals, this Friday, July 17 at 7:30 pm.
The second visit of 2015 by the traveling band of outlaws is slated for Friday and Saturday, July 24 and 25, at Williams Grove Speedway.
But this week at the oval in order to prep for the outlaws, the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars will tune up for the WoO in a race paying $4,000 to win.
This week’s race will also be part of the 2015 Hoosier Diamond Series at the oval.
Beginning at 7:30 pm, time trials for the 410 sprint cars will set the starting grids for the night.
The feature event will be 25 laps in distance.
Also on the program will be the HJ Towing & Recovery 358 sprint cars including a 20 lap feature event.
And then the following week the World of Outlaws Summer Nationals will take center stage at Williams Grove, getting underway both nights at 7:30 pm.
The World of Outlaws and Pennsylvania Posse July match-up will be the second of the season between the bands with the third and final of the year slated at the track on October 1, 2 and 3 for the prestigious Natonal Open.
Adult general admission for this Friday’s show is $15 with youth ages 13 – 20 admitted for $10.
Kids ages 12 and under are always admitted FREE at Williams Grove Speedway!
The track portion of the 50/50 on July 17 will go to the Kiwanis Club of Dillsburg.
The Williams Grove Saturday Series featuring the super sportsman continues on Saturdays during the summer months with race time at 7 pm each week.
