Williams Grove Hosts Second Fan Appreciation Night Friday

410 sprints compete in Bowhunters Yellow Breeches 500, 358 sprints race in Summer Series

Mechanicsburg – Presented by Bowhunters Superstore of Wellsville, the second Fan Appreciation Night of the season is on tap this Friday night, August 2, at Williams Grove Speedway featuring free pre-race admission to the backstretch pit area with the purchase of a general admission ticket.

Racing action on the night will include the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 Sprint Cars competing in the Bowhunters Brawl Yellow Breeches 500 race and the HJ Towing & Recovery 358 sprints racing in another MacMor Construction Summer Series race.

Sponsored by Hoseheads.com, J & S Classics and Martins Potato Chips, from 5:30 until 6:15 on Friday evening, any fan that purchases a general admission ticket will be permitted to cruise the backstretch pit area free of charge.

Fans entering the pits will receive free candy and chips courtesy of Hoseheads, J & S Classics and Martins.

Both sprint car features on Friday night will be 25 laps in distance.

The 410 sprints will race for $5,000 to win and $500 just to start the race with the total purse up for grabs coming in at $21,000.

Group time trials during warm-ups will set the heat starting grids for the 410 sprints.

Bowhunters Superstore will be hosting the "The Bowhunters Bash" at their 1045 Zeigler Road address in Wellsville on August 9 and 10, featuring an open house and a huge sales event of archery and other sporting goods.

The Bowhunters Brawl at Williams Grove this week will showcase a static display in the infield featuring the Bowhunters Superstore 4x4 tuff truck along with store merchandise and information on the August 9 and 10 Bash sales event.

Sprint car driver Kyle Moody of Bowhunters Superstore will have his No. 99 sprint car on display in the infield and will be signing autographs prior to the start of racing.

The first 200 general admission fans through the gates will receive a free Bowhunters Superstore T Shirt.

Adult general admission for August 2 is $20 with students ages 13-20 admitted for just $10.

Kids ages 12 and under are always admitted for FREE at Williams Grove Speedway.
