Mechanicsburg – The Saturday Series Super Sportsman will join the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars for an open wheel doubleheader at Williams Grove Speedway this Friday night, April 3 at 7:30 pm.
Williams Grove opened the season on March 27 with a win by Danny Dietrich over the sprint car field while Nick Dickson scored in a rare appearance by the super late models.
This week’s action will include full programs of heat races and features for each division.
It will be the first show of the season anywhere for the popular super sportsman that headline the Williams Grove Saturday Series that begins at the track this year on May 2.
Adult general admission for Friday’s show is set at just $14 with youth ages 13 – 20 admitted for just $10.
Ages 12 and under are always admitted for free at Williams Grove.
The Williams Grove portion of the 50/50 drawing this week will be donated to The Autism Society.
The HJ Towing & Recovery 358 sprints will make their season debut at Williams Grove on Friday, April 10 when another twinbill of open wheel racing is spun off, headlined by the 410 sprints.
And then the first big race of the season comes up on April 17 when the Tommy Hinnershitz Spring Classic for the 410 sprints is presented as part of the Hoosier Diamond Series.
The super sportsman are also on the April 17 racing card.
April will close with an invasion by the All Stars Circuit of Champions Sprints on the 24th.
The kickoff of the 2015 Saturday Night Series featuring the super sportsman is slated for Saturday, May 2.
