Make Up Dates Announced For Kimmel Memorial And 358 Match Race
Mechanicsburg – Due to the cancellation of the August 5 racing program at Williams Grove Speedway, make up dates have been announced for both the Billy Kimmel Memorial and the Match Race for 358 sprint cars.
The Billy Kimmel Memorial for 410 sprints will now be held on Friday, August 19 when the World of Outlaws Late Model also compete.
Presented by Messick’s Farm Equipment, the Kimmel Memorial will pay $6,000 to win on August 19 and regular handicapping will be used to set the heat starting grids.
Messick’s will also present the 40-lap, $10,000 to win World of Outlaws Late Models portion of the program.
The 358 Sprint Match Race boasting a total purse worth over $20,000 that was slated for August 5 will now be held on Friday, September 2 as part of Joe Harz Tribute Night at the track.
There will be no racing at the oval on August 12.
