Another Exciting 410 Sprint/USAC East Doubleheader At Williams Grove This Week
Randy Wolfe Tribute Race Is July 15
Mechanicsburg – Williams Grove Speedway will host another exciting pair of events for both the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars and the USAC East Coast 360 sprints coming up this Friday, July 8 at 7:30 pm.
The 410 sprints will compete for $5,500 to win while the USAC East cars race for $1,500.
Fresh off of a pair of Pennsylvania Speedweek programs in the last two weeks claimed by Anthony Macri and Brent Marks, the 410 sprints will compete in a regular program, lining up the 25-lap main heads-up from their heat finishes.
In two appearances at the track so far this season by the USAC East sprinters, wins have gone to Briggs Danner and Alex Bright.
The USAC East drivers will compete in a 20-lap main.
Adult general admission is set at $20 with youth ages 13-20 admitted for just $10 while kids ages 12 and under are always admitted for FREE at Williams Grove Speedway.
Williams Grove Speedway will host the make-up Randy Wolfe Tribute Night coming up on July 15.
Pre-race activities will include live interviews with Wolfe himself along with a number of former car owners.
A display of Wolfe photos and memorabilia will also be set up adjacent to the infield stage.
Lucas Wolfe will have his No. 5W sprint car on display as well.
Live interviews and all additional pre-race action will get underway at 5:45 in the infield.
As the owners of Wolfe’s final ride in the late 1990s, the Allebach No. 75, Jim and Laura Allebach will be paying $75 to win heat races on the night along with the consolation race and the feature event.
Courtesy of Orange Crate Brewing Company, the fifth place finisher in the main event will earn a $555 bonus.
The race itself will be a World of Outlaws Tune Up event, paying $6,000 to the winner.
The 358 sprints will also be in action.
