Mechanicsburg – The first assault of the season by the NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws Sprint Cars Series on the Pennsylvania Posse is just two weeks away at Williams Grove Speedway.
Slated for May 14 and 15, H & N Landscaping of Mechanicsburg will present a two-day outlaws stand at Williams Grove.
Adult general admission for each night of the Williams Grove outlaws stand is set at $30 with youth ages 13 –20 admitted for $15.
Kids ages 12 and under are always admitted for FREE at Williams Grove.
Both of the weekend’s racing programs will pay $10,000 to win with Friday’s main event going 25 laps while the Saturday feature will go for 30.
Saturday’s winner will receive an additional 5K to be declared the 2021 Morgan Cup Champion to go along with bragging rights as Morgan Cup Champion for a year of either the World of Outlaws series stars or those of the Pennsylvania Posse.
Outlaws champion Brad Sweet, “The Big Cat,†of Grass Valley California will enter the fracas in firm control of the World of Outlaws season point standings as he vies for his third series title in a row at the wheel of Kasey Kahne’s No. 49.
Sweet has five wins on the outlaws season to date although several other drivers have scored including Sheldon Haudenschild, David Gravel, Logan Schuchart, James McFadden, Carson Macedo and Aaron Reutzel.
However Williams Grove Speedway hasn’t exactly been kind to Sweet over the years as the Californian has yet to crack the winner’s circle despite making it onto the podium on a few occasions.
Sweet will be trying to change that during the May 14/15 outlaws and posse match-up.
Aaron Reutzel, aboard the Roth No. 83, may be one to watch with the outlaws when he gets back to Williams Grove in two weeks as the Texas native has really learned his way around the big half-mile in recent seasons.
Reutzel became the first and remains the only All Stars driver to take an All Stars win at the oval since he took his first track checkers back in 2019 before going on to claim two more.
At Williams Grove, no driver has been dominant with four main events to date producing four different winners including Freddie Rahmer, Justin Peck Kyle Larson and Lucas Wolfe.
Rahmer is the current oval point leader.
Perennial outlaws killer at Williams Grove, posse pilot Lance Dewease seems poised to score his elusive 100th career speedway win and nothing would please the Fayetteville flyer more than to do so over the outlaws big dogs.
Advanced reserved seat tickets for all 2021 Williams Grove Speedway and the NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws Sprint Cars Series events are available exclusively through the NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws.
Fans who wish to obtain any reserved seats for any of the six outlaws events at the track in 2021 can purchase tickets via the official outlaws official website located at www.worldofoutlaws.com/tix or by calling 1.844.DIRT.TIX.
