Brooks PowerSports Outlaws Tune Up Is May 10 At Williams Grove
Event will kickoff 2019 Diamond Series and debut 358 sprint series
Mechanicsburg – The Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint car drivers will ready themselves for next week’s invasion by the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars Series with a World of Outlaws Tune Up race coming up at Williams Grove Speedway this Friday, May 10 at 7:30 pm.
The Brooks Powersports World of Outlaws Tune Up event will kickoff the 2019 Hoosier Diamond Series at the track, paying $4,180 to win the 25-lap main event.
The HJ Towing & Recovery 358 sprints will also make their season debut on May 10.
Gates for the show will open at 6 pm with racing slated for 8 pm.
Adult general admission is set at $17 with youth ages 13-20 admitted for just $10. Kids ages 12 and under are always admitted for FREE at Williams Grove Speedway.
The outlaws tune up race for the 410 sprints will include time trials, heats and a dash along with the main event.
Fast Tees will pay $300 to set quick time on the night as they will at all time trial races throughout the season.
With the early season slate of events at Williams Grove having been assaulted by rain, the special event will be key for the regular, weekly Williams Grove sprint car drivers who want to be ready for the outlaws when they hit town for a two-day stand on May 17 and 18.
The 358 sprints, having lost their first show of the season to rain on April 26, will compete in heats and a 20-lap feature event on May 10.

Fans can visit the Brooks PowerSports Facebook page during the week ahead and enter a contest to win a two-lap ride around the speedway during the show aboard a Can-Am Maverick X3 X rc Turbo R Utility Vehicle as driven by Rodney Westhafer.
In addition for the fans attending the tune up event, the speedway will be handing out FREE 80th anniversary Williams Grove Speedway PA Posse rally towels to the first 300 general admission fans at the frontstretch admission gates. Special edition Beer Hill Gang towels will be given out to the first 150 general admission fans that enter via the third turn admission gate.
Courtesy of Hoseheads.com, the first 200 kids ages 12 and under entering the speedway through the main grandstand admission gate beginning at 5:30 will receive a FREE chocolate Easter bunny.
The Hoseheads.com hoppers giveaway at the gate will begin when gates open at 5:30 pm however from approximately 6 – 6:30, sprint car drivers Ryan Smith and Cory Haas will be on hand to help hand out the chocolate while also meeting fans.
