Rookie of the Race and Just Missed Awards up for grabs

Mechanicsburg – Lucrative contingency awards have again been posted for this week’s 56th annual Champion Racing Oil National Open at Williams Grove Speedway as sanctioned by the World of Outlaws.
The Beer Hill Gang will present the Champion Racing Oil National Open Rookie of the Race Award while the Just Missed Award will again be offered.
The Just Missed Award will grant a minimum of $1,000 to the highest finishing driver in the Saturday Last Chance Showdown that does not earn a provisional to start the A Main.
Dirt Track Digest, Camp Mayhem and Sprintcarunlimited.com have joined forces to present the Just Missed Award for the Saturday Champion Racing Oil National Open.
Camp Mayhem is made up of a collection of loyal Open supporters that come together for the event each year at Williams Grove. The group has camped together for over a decade.

Sponsored again in 2018 by The Beer Hill Gang, the Rookie of the Race Award is a $1,000 minimum bonus that will be paid out to the highest finishing rookie in the Champion Racing Oil National Open finale events on Saturday, excluding provisional starters.
Eligible finishes/finishers could come in the A, B or C Mains.
The 56th annual Champion Racing Oil National Open weekend is the climax of the season at Williams Grove Speedway.
The two-day World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series program offers a 27-lap, $10,000 to win main on both Friday night before the big 40-lap event paying 56K to win on Saturday.
