Saturday, May 24, the Williams Grove Speedway Saturday Night Series returns to action. Rain washed out the last two shows.
The Bill Heckert Memorial for the Blazer’s Body Shop Super Sportsman division will highlight the event. Bill Heckert was a popular driver in the Super Sportsman. The Super Sportsman will be competing in a 25-lap feature and there will be double points. Mike Enders leads the Super Sportsman points.
Joining the Super Sportsman will be the Credit Connection Car Sales 358 Late Models and Aquafun Pools Street Stocks.
The Meet and Greet returns this week. Super Sportsman drivers Davey Walsh and Todd Leonard will meet with fans before the races. The drivers and cars will be in the infield area at 5 PM for a half hour.
Although the Super Sportsman have a championship race, there will be no increase in admission. The three-division show will have an adult admission of five dollars. All children 12 and under are free.
Practice begins at 6 P.M. and the racing starts at 6:30 P.M.
